This is a free instruction sheet on making a basic shibori ribbon flower.

You can also watch a Youtube video starring my hands here. I have to warn you, it’s pretty primative. I put it up as a test a while back and meant to redo it. When I finally remembered I had done it I saw it had over 3000 view so for now, I’m leaving it up. I’ll re-do it when I get a chance, (BTW- I never added sound).
Here’s a second video of me making the leaf. Feel free to “leaf” a comment on the Youtube page.

I am taking your next class on Joggles but did not have a source for the ribbons. Will be getting some from Adele – I met her years ago through a doll club. Thank you for such beauty. Your work is awesome.
Good thoughts

I am still struggling to to get the flowers just right. Practice, practice, practice. I love the ribbon and am almost reluctant to cut it.

hi my name is olivia and i am currently an A-level textiles student. I have my final exam coming up and have decided to base my final piece on flowers. From looking through your photos i have fallen in love with your work and think each flower is beautiful. I am hoping, if it is ok to base you as one of my inspirational artists and wondering if you could email me information about where you studied and how you came to doing this work?
thank you.
