Interested in classes on tied shibori and wanted to know if you teach privately or have classes in California or Texas. I will be doing henna at a show half way to California and I live near Texas...anyway doing henna to pay for my trip etc.. and have places to stay in the long beach area. The show I am doing is the 4th of July weekend....I will be free after the 5th...anything going on in your calendar?
...took a class with Candace Kling at Costume College...loved it. What type of class are you teaching with her?
Anyway, I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Glennis,
Once again, your photography of the shibori pieces is amazing! Are you doing the photography yourself, because the arrangements and lighting is SUPERB!
Thanks for the info on the ppl pipes. The rep has already contacted me.

Thanks again, for all knowledge and inspiraton... If anyone has any silk painting questions, I will be happy to give them some input or enlightenment. I have been teaching silk painting for 16 years.

Thanks mucho.

Glennis,

Thanks a million! Now I can really get down and boogey! Hurray! My clientele are really responding to this dimension of shibori, and I am having a ball or should I say "pleated" ball? Thanks, again.

Hi Glennis,

I recently signed up with Karen B's blog, but haven't been able to contact her or get any feedback from her. I read that she is joining Earthhues, but no further correspondence. What's become of her. I miss her knowledge and superb guidance in this art. Perhaps I am leaving messages in the wrong place. Any suggestions?

I love both of your work, and the photos of the shibori is a fantastic idea.."shibori as photographic art"! How novel. I am a silk painter and textile designer also, and have decided to try my hand at the textural form of shibori rather than just the flat version which I have been doing for eighteen years. Right now I am using regular pvc pipe for arashi, but can't find a source for the ppl pipe that you and Karen are using. (I saw it in your photos.)

I live in San Diego, California. Where can I find it on the west coast? The pvc is not going to hold up for very long as Karen posted in her instructions. Help, please! Really excited about incorporating this new dimension into my work. I have been mentally stockpiling the experience since I met Karen in Missouri at the conference four or five years ago. Ready and eager to "wrap and roll", to coin my own phrase! Ha! Hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks for your blog and all the inspirational info.
