I agree there is something about flowers, they are always appealing and infinitely interesting in some ways.
These are lovely; the color variation of the shibori is so nice for flowers!

it is hard to know they are fabric at first glance, they look edible. like those upon a cake. mmmm.

faint flashes of memories…..a hydrangia bush next to a porch we sat on as 2 or 3 year olds…..blues and purples……seems like I’ve been searching for that flower ever since it was imprinted on my baby brain.

that would have been the front porch on wollachet bay and nana’s porch in chico. both had hydrangea next to the steps. no wonder you’ve always liked blue….
