just another monday…
except it’s tuesday. and since we had a holiday yesterday, it’s art in the 4th grade classroom today. Back to the plaster work and perhaps even finishing the patina on some of the pieces. This time I’m bringing the camera!

I have been making these luscious ribbons for several special ribbon shops as well as designers this past week.
I think I have pretty much got the hang of it and the resulting rolls are just so exquisitely wonderful to hold in your hand.

silk shibori corsage
Almost forgot this-
made for olivia for mother’s day. kind of looks like a cross between a peony and a pansy. silk shibori ribbon and fabric stitched with a magnetic clasp.
